expects T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM? in PHP

It may be a way of PHP’s way to tell you you are missing a $ sign in your code

.. for example if you write in your code  _POST[“id”] instead of $_POST[“foo”], you may encounter with this php error

I was working with my code and got “expects T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM“, then I tried to find out and got that I missed $ sign in my code , I corrected code with $ sign, and it worked fine for me

if(isset(parent_cat))
{
// my code
}

Corrected one

if(isset($parent_cat))
{
// my code
}
